Ottawa Tour

Hello fellows,

I have been busy lately, and I could not update my blog. But today I kinda found time to dedicate to the weblog.

Last weekend I went, with some friend, in Ottawa. We mostly wandered around the city, but afterwards we went to a museum. It was about Canadian Natives and their relationships with the newcomers from Europe. It was really nice, because they also had jokes the Natives are used to tell and surprisedly some of them were funny even nowadays.
A good joke was something like this:

Two women are in a car, driving. One is driving and one is siting behind. The woman behind asks the other one what is she keeping in the front seat. The other replies ‘There is a bottle of liquor. I got it for my husband”.
The other woman remains silent and then replies “Good deal”.

It was kinda funny. Probably it has been modernized, since they put the scene in a car. The joke makes sense, since in their culture, the women had power as mush as the men. In fact both were strong, but in different fields.

Before the visit to the museum, we went to a candy shop called ‘Sugar Mountain’. I bought so many things… I almost died trying to eat them all at home. I still have the jawbreaker, but I am not that brave/stupid for now XD.

While going around we also met several street performers.

Hello,

It took me this whole day to upload my pics, but now I can write down this post about what I did last weekend.

This weekend I went to Ottawa, Ontario, for Canada’s 143rd birthday.
After contacting some friends I have over there, in 2 days everything was set up and at 12pm I left my town. At 6pm I was there.
